VideoGL allows the manipulation of video and image data in real time with 3D hardware.
The input data will be transmitted to the graphics card during play and will be processed and manipulted with shader programs (GLSL). By exploiting the capabilities of current 3D hardware even demanding edge detection algorithms can be calculated on a running video in real time.
The shader plug chain of VideoGL allows the simultaneous application of a total of 8 shader effects in any order on the raw material.
The program will be shipped with a number of prefabricated shaders, which can be easily extended through a simple plug-in system..
In addition to the real time processing, images can be extracted and saved with a resolution of up to 4096x4096 pixels.
To utilize all the capabilities of VideoGL you need a graphics card from Geforce 6 upwards (eg GF6800GT, 7800) and a CPU with at least 3 GHz.
